Inspect the overlooked parts of each landmark

The shared-location report goes beyond naming a tree or cave: it includes the tree cabin and branches, cliffs outside the far cave opening, and maze corners reached through the pond beside the pyramid. Use these as places to inspect, not a promise that a Black Hole Egg is waiting at each one.

A useful original search order is to finish the checkpoint nearest your known route home before crossing to a second zone. For the cave, include its exit side in the same visit so you do not mistake the entrance sweep for a complete check. For the tree, inspect the cabin as well as reachable branches.

Identify the egg when two targets share a route

Shared search areas do not mean Black Hole and Cherub have the same record. The adopted table gives Cherub 1T Luck and Black Hole 100B, while both are Ethereal. Read the pickup label and record which target you actually brought home.

If your aim is completing the Black Hole collection entry, a Cherub sighting does not finish that task. If your aim is securing any reachable Ethereal egg, you may reasonably take the accessible target instead. Decide which objective matters before a brief pickup opportunity forces the choice.

Prepare for the obstacle, not just the rarity

Test your owned mount at the ledge or branch before carrying an egg; speed alone does not prove you can clear that obstacle. Compare current jump and movement behavior on the same approach, then keep the route that produces a controlled return.

Gears revision 578 calls the Ethereal matching item Eternal Radar and lists $30M. The location report sometimes uses Ethereal Radar as a descriptive label, so check the shop’s exact item and tracked tier instead of assuming there are two different required purchases. Follow current activation prompts because duration and use descriptions differ between reports.

Once you pick up Black Hole, end the search and head to an available nest. Log the target name, checkpoint and completed hatch. If the same cliff repeatedly defeats the return, practice it or choose another supported search pocket before paying for another tracking attempt.
